I'm not sure I have enough energy to type tonight so I'll mostly let the pictures speak for themselves. We've been busy these last few days! But before I get into that, I wanted you all to see these darling knitted gifts our friend Chandler gave the girls.
Adorable booties!
Hair clips!
And this amazing hat for an amazing baby!
Thank you Chandler! :)
Now, back to why I am sooooo tired....
Once a month we attend the Mini-Explorer's class at Padilla Bay Interpretive Center.
Here Holden, along with Miles and another little boy, is learning about tides from Teacher Charlie.
She then created a high/low tide picture with colored sea creatures.
Now when you ask Holden to explain tides, she says "high tide is when there isn't very much sand on the beach for playing, and low tide is when there is more sand for playing". I think she gets it.
Before we left the classroom she wanted to write her name on the blackboard. We've been practicing writing letters and as you can see all the practice is paying off! Now we need to work on getting the letters in a row.
We also had gymnastics class.
Holden's the blurry one; the girl just does not stop moving!
And there's more! Holden also had dance class!
This week was tap dancing and she did great!
We ended our busy week with lunch with Nani & Papa!
And all by herself she ordered her favorite--a panda bear pancake!
(no pandas were harmed in the making of this pancake)
And now Iona and Holden are tucked in bed, preparing their minds and bodies for another busy day! And that's where I'm headed too!
