Love is in the air!

Happy Valentine's Day!
It feels like we've been celebrating for days. Holden has yet to master the concept of time (not to mention patience), therefore if we mention something, like Valentine's Day, too soon, then everyday becomes Valentine's Day. And why not? There could be worse days to celebrate over and over again. Like Flag Day? What would we do for that? Luckily we have Valentine's cards and chocolate treats to keep us occupied! And then we have clean-up and treat control--"No Sweetie, you can't have another chocolate heart right now, that's not a very healthy dinner".

Creating Valentine's Cards....

Finished products....one of them might be for you!

Holden REEEEALLY enjoying her chocolate treat from Nani (my mom).

     Beautiful Iona!

On a side note...
A big THANK YOU to Barbo, Uncle Johnny & Cousin Michael for the clams! I just thawed out a couple bags and fried them up for dinner last night! YUMMY!  I love clam sandwiches!

We spent the day in Concrete yesterday. Holden has been spending weekends upriver since she was just little but Iona had never been to my folks' farm. After a brief run-in with Lily the cat (who just wanted to lick Iona's head all over), we bundled the baby up (thank you Aggergaards for the adorable snowsuit!) and headed out to feed the goats, give treats to the dogs, talk to the horses and watch the alpacas watch us.

She may not be able to move but she's warm!  :)  Oh, and cute!

And we can't go to Concrete without making a stop at the Historic Concrete Theatre, which my mom and step-dad have renovated and rejuvenated these past 12 months! Here they are welcoming their guests dressed up for the showing of True Grit, which Michael enjoyed seeing. To check out the movie schedule for your next visit to Concrete go to           www.concrete-theatre.com
Holden, aka Eskimo Doll, helped her Nani & Papa hand out prizes before the movie played.

Before heading home we took a stroll through town (that didn't take too long) and across the Henry Thompson Bridge, which was once the world's longest single-span concrete bridge.

Love...
