Have you ever been to a birthday party for a four year old? Then you know the pure joy, and the pure exhaustion, that only a children's birthday party can bring about. Sofia, the birthday girl, is a friend we met initially in dance class, but recently she has also joined gymnastics so, now Holden gets to see her twice a week. The party was held at the local children's museum, a favorite location!
This was fun until she decided to pour sand over her head, which then got in her eyes.

What I don't have is a picture of Holden 20 minutes after this when she was sound asleep in the car on the way home from the party. She had a great time and was so kind to Sofia; following her around and saying "happy birthday Sofia!".
Now I must cut this short...the pure....exhaustion....part of....the day..........hmnfdnk....adkgf........
