You asked for it!

Well, for our friends and family, near and far, we have decided to create a blog! We can't promise that we'll post frequently or regularly but we'll do our best to keep you updated with our adventures. If you'd like to know when there's a new entry, go ahead and "follow" us.

So, it's been a journey...

Here we are in Argentina...before marriage, before Holden, before Iona...

In Victoria, Canada, exactly 4 years ago, we were legally married.

And at Holden Village in October of 2007 we had our commitment ceremony!

Then in January of 2008 Holden came along!

Then in October of 2010 Iona came along!

And now we have two amazing daughters!

And they have each other.

Holden recently turned 3 years old!

Iona recently turned 3 months old!

Holden enjoys gymnastics once a week with Coach Jesse.

And she is also in dance class.

Iona is focussing her energies on being a baby--and she's great at it!

Michael is teaching philosophy still and Julie is going to work a few hours here and there this summer helping others watch whales. We have a couple roadtrips in the works so stay tuned--it may be YOU that we are coming to visit!

That pretty much brings you all up to speed on us. From here on out we'll be sharing our day to day joys and challenges with vanQUICKenborne updates!
We'd love comments and feedback!
